| | Dear Supporter,
As summer begins to wind down, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the warmth of the season but also on the rapidly shifting landscape around us. Across our country and our communities, we are experiencing a time of uncertainty around healthcare funding, access to care, and vital services for those who need them most. These changes bring real consequences for vulnerable families, frontline caregivers, and those struggling to access even the most basic services. But because of you, hope remains alive.
This month, we’re proud to share stories of resilience and gratitude, from a cancer survivor whose healing was made possible through your support, to the OB/GYN physicians shaping generations of compassionate care. In Montebello, your impact is reaching individuals in transitional housing through the Tiny Homes Project, where our Community Resource Center is providing food, resources, and renewed dignity during difficult times.
Your support also shines through in recent events that brought our mission to life:
- A beautiful art unveiling, revealing a powerful portrait of Gloria Molina, honoring her legacy, bringing a sense of community, and celebrating donor generosity
- Mena Suvari’s radiant support for children
- Delivering tangible kindness to the Dolores Mission
- An inspiring Physicians’ Lecture Series that bridged medical education and philanthropy
- A joyful ribbon-cutting celebrating expanded care access with our partners at White Memorial Community Health Center
As new policies continue to affect access to care, especially for immigrant and underserved communities, your support ensures that we can remain a steadfast presence, advocating for dignity, equity, and compassionate healthcare for all.
We invite you to read, reflect, and stand with us. Let’s continue this journey of hope and healing together. Together, we are standing up for equity, compassion, and care — no matter what the future holds.
With much gratitude, |
